Photographs reveal that the location of the camp was at the far north west end of West Loch Tarbert almost opposite the ferry terminal at Grid reference 843672. The nearest relevant farm is probably Cuilnashemraig and the hill behind the campsite would then be Cruach Gar dhoire (809 feet). It's not clear how the troop managed to get equipment to the campsite though.

The Troop log book entry did not identify everyone who was present, or which patrols they were in. However, it is known that there were six patrols named after the wombles and that the Scouts and Leaders present included the following.

Scouters (The Bull Patrol)

S.L. Alistair Cram; V.S.L. Alan Riddell; A.S.L. Douglas Morrison (Dim); A.S.L. Kenny Paton; A.S.L. Graham Patrick (Glip); John Sunter.

Visitors

Patrol Leaders

Donald Thornton (Orinocco Patrol); Christopher Dagleish (Great Uncle Bulgaria Patrol or GUB); Alistair Bennett (Bungo Patrol); David McCallum (Tomsk Patrol); Alistair Cowe (possibly Tobermory Patrol); Guy Phillips (possibly  Wellington patrol).
